Here at Gate-A-Mation, we understand that all powered entrance systems, are created using many hundreds of different parts, items and materials. Each is installed in a unique location that requires its own needs to suit each individual environment with its unique demands. Added to this mix of variables are different users and by-standers together with the individual requirements of each owner, both cosmetic and functional. Our residential gate system maintenance reports enable us to identify the location, status, current state, the physical elements, safety score, equipment list and much more.

Therefore, there really is no two systems that are identical and each one needs to be identified for many good reasons. Every component has to be listed with its position, condition and suitability identified. Any single item could be the cause of a system failure or malfunction and without a description of it and what it is meant to do, how it is meant to perform and the consequences, little help could be offered in support, repair or maintenance. By having our gate monitor system report it enables us to be able to quickly identify problem parts and previous notes about the system to ensure a prompt repair of the gate.

Unlike common machines we are all used too, such as a car or a washing machine etc. there is no exact description that can be used to clearly identify, individual automatic gate systems. Without a gate monitoring system report all relevant information, the ability to source spare parts would not be possible and having the right procedure for repairs, servicing or modification etc. would be unlikely. Huge delays and vast additional costs with investigation and corrective response would be necessary. Therefore we do advise to our clients that to avoid such disruptions and delays our electric gate maintenance reports can be very beneficial.

A review of the ‘Safe State’, estimated ‘Life Expectancy’ and ‘Worthiness' of any system, starts with the data collated within the system report and every installation should be updated with all changes recorded.

System reports are the core document within each installations technical file and every system should be identified by it accordingly. At Gate-A-Mation every system has its own GAM number and all data is recorded against it accordingly.
