System Report
It is Gate-A-Mation's Company Policy, and strong recommendation that every initial site visit made by a Gate-A-Mation Engineer has a FULL System Report carried out on it.
This report is made out and an internal file raised, a brief resumé of which is forwarded to the customer together with any other associated paper work.
System Reports are carried out for the following reasons :
To fairly establish the condition of the installation and forward recommendations as to the up-keep and safety of the system.
To record the environmental conditions in which the system is to operate and any changes to those conditions that may affect the performance, safety or reliability of the system.
To identify all the major components of the system and the location of each accordingly. Together with an appraisal of the 'System Design'.
To enable Gate-A-Mation to open a file on the system so as to provide adequate back-up to the customer and users of the system.
To enable Gate-A-Mation to carry the correct spare parts should they be needed , or otherwise trace the source of such items in preparation.
To source and record access codes, radio type and codes, key numbers and alike for customer service.
An account of the works actually carried out by Gate-A-Mation on the first site visit are recorded, clarifying the position of any further system/product responsibility.
ALL RECOMMENDATIONS PROPOSED BY GATE-A-MATION ARE DONE SO IN GOOD FAITH AND ARE PURELY OPTIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS BASED ON GATE-A-MATION'S CODE OF BUSINESS AND SYSTEM DESIGN. THEY ARE OFFERED TO AID AND PROLONG THE LIFE EXPECTANCY, SAFETY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SYSTEM.
All existing controls and equipment re-used are and shall remain the responsibility of the customer. No system will be left in operation if our engineer believes the safety of the users are at risk.
